Sound Spectrum Ribbon Cutting

Sound Spectrum celebrates their Grand Reopening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Partnership with the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Sound Spectrum, a music store offering vinyl records, CDs, apparel, and accessories, is thrilled to announce its grand reopening celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 5, at 5:30pm. The event will take place at 1264 S Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach, CA 92651.

Join us as we celebrate this historical landmark in our community. The ribbon cutting will be officiated by Erin Slattery from the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce, along with local dignitaries, honored guests, and members of the community.

“We believe in the power of music to bring people together. Sound Spectrum has been a key cornerstone of the Laguna Beach community for the past 57 years. We are excited to reopen and continue to support the music fans for years to come. We hope the store inspires locals and travelers from all over the world to be creative and support the local arts and culture scene.”

The Sound Spectrum is proud to have collaborated with talented artists and painters during our renovations, closely working with Creative Director and local artist Amanda Burke Designs. Changes include new floor to ceiling murals and a restored Bill Ogden mural by Amanda Burke; sculpture in front display by Brigid Burns, psychedelic resin display shelves by Amy Rose Hammond; and wood paneled walls, arches, paint, floor and wall restoration by Jorge Trejo.

Community members are invited to come check out all the changes in person and meet the Sound Spectrum team.
