About Us

The Laguna Dance Festival offers sensational world-class dance performances in intimate settings such as the Laguna Playhouse and art galleries, and site-specific indoor and outdoor venues. Our mission is “To present world-class dance performance, increase public appreciation for the art, and provide quality dance education.”


Laguna Dance Festival (LDF) has been offering dance performances and education since 2005. Companies such as Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Paul Taylor, Ballet X, Alonzo King Lines Ballet, Malpaso, Black Grace, BODYTRAFFIC, LA Ballet, BalletX, and solos and duets from San Francisco Ballet, New York City Ballet, and many more. LDF is truly a shining jewel in the artistic crown of Laguna Beach.
LDF also awards scholarships to aspiring young dancers, a week-long Summer Intensive, master classes, and many free community performances.
