Think Laguna First is a Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce program that encourages residents to shop, dine and frequent local businesses.

What is Small Business Saturday?
Small Business Saturday is an annual November event celebrating small local businesses, advocating a "Shop Small" reminder to encourage consumers to shop local businesses.

Small Laguna Businesses are Encouraged to Participate

The Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce (LBCC) is proud to be a neighborhood champion for Small Business Saturday (SBS) on November 28, 2015. LOCAL BUSINESSES: Please opt in ASAP to reap the benefits of our free marketing!

We're encouraging local Laguna businesses to participate in Think Laguna First/SBS and spread the word to customers and other local businesses. This campaign is an excellent way to remind our community about the advantages of supporting our local small businesses and celebrating everything they do to support Laguna Beach, via local tax dollars.

The Chamber of Commerce Will:

Create and distribute handouts, posters, balloons, ShopSmall swag at no cost to businesses
Stage a "Snap & Share" photo contest with three major prizes, to encourage residents to visit participating businesses on SBS
Mention your business name in press releases
Preview "Think Laguna First"/SBS at October 20 City Council meeting
Run SBS ads in the Laguna Beach Indy in Nov.
Run SBS social media promo on LagunaBeach.com
Issue SBS PR about participating merchants
Promote SBS and participating merchants on LBCC social media throughout November
Dedicate a page on Chamber's website to SBS and promote participating businesses
Use November 20+25 Co-op ads in Laguna Beach Indy to promote participating merchants' SBS promos (~1/8-page ads available in this section-- $89 for Chamber members to participate; $105 for non-members)

Participating Businesses Should:

Register to partner with the Chamber ASAP
Create a special deal available only on SBS, November 28
Put on a fun SBS event at your business
Get the Amex SBS toolkit at shopsmall.com
Promote your SBS event and our hashtag #ThinkLagunaFirst on your social media
Interact with the LBCC SBS social media posts
Participate in Chamber’s Nov 20+25 Laguna Beach Indy co-op ad: 1/8-page ads available, $89 for Chamber members; $105 for non-members
Work with Chamber to get the word out about SBS and ThinkLagunaFirst
